JACKSON -- Jackson's Jr. American Legion baseball team remained undefeated in District 14 play by beating visiting Dunklin County 8-3 Monday night.

Jackson is now 5-0 in the district and 8-7 overall.

Kyle Long was the winning pitcher. He hurled all seven innings, allowing five hits and two walks while striking out four.

Long also had two of Jackson's nine hits, and he drove in two runs. Luke Johnson had two hits and three RBIs.
