The Indians defeated North County 14-7 on the road.

BONNE TERRE, Mo. -- The Jackson offense finally gained some positive yards and the Indians' defense made three of fourth-down stands in the fourth quarter Friday night.

The Indians awakened just in time to pull out the 14-7 road win.

The offense, which was held to zero yards on 18 plays in the first half, managed a pair of second-half touchdowns.

Lowgn Wren hooked up with Stephen Dunn from 5 yards out to even the score late in the third quarter.

North County decided to go for it on fourth-and-1 from its own 41. The Indians threw running back Matt Rion for a 3-yard loss on the play.

Colten Proffer broke free three plays later for a 26-yard touchdown to give the Indians the lead.

Jackson's defense stopped the Raiders two more times on fourth down to seal the victory.
