BRIEFLY: HUSTON COMPETES IN JR. COLLEGE WORLD SERIES

Notre Dame High School graduate Billy Huston is part of the Dundalk Community College baseball team of Baltimore, Md., that will compete in the Division II Junior College World Series beginning today in Millington, Tenn.

Huston graduated from Notre Dame in 1996.

As a pitcher, Huston is 5-2 with a 2.76 earned-run average. At the plate, he's batting .356 with five home runs, seven doubles, one triple, six stolen bases and 19 runs batted in.

Dundalk is one of eight teams that qualified for the Division II Junior College World Series.
