Ron Herr recorded his third career hole-in-one Saturday during the first round of the Braves & Squaws Tournament being held at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Herr accomplished the feat with a 9-wood on No. 6, a 150-yard par 3.

"I had a beautiful shot, but holes-in-one are lucky," said Herr.

Herr said he hit the shot high and with a bit of draw, landing it about 15 feet in front of the hole. The shot released, hit the pin and fell in.

Witnessing the shot were Herr's wife, Charlotte, Morris Osburn and Bobbi Woodard.
