BRIEFLY: FARMINGTON GO HOST SIX BASKETBALL GAMES SATURDAY

The Farmington Civic Center will be the site of Saturday's six-game Nothing But Net Showdown.

Cape Girardeau Central High's girls will open the event with a noon game against Farmington.

The rest of the schedule: Mineral Area College women vs. Three Rivers Community College, 1:30; Perryville boys vs. North County, 3:30; South Iron boys vs. Arcadia Valley, 5; Portageville boys vs. Alton, 6:30; Mineral Area men vs. Three Rivers, 8.

Tickets, at $5 for all six games, are available at all participating schools, including Cape Central at the athletic director's office. For more information, call 335-8467.
