Edgewater Glass recently finished second in the ASA Class A State Tournament held in Rolla.
Edgewater went 6-2 in tournament play with both its losses to Davault of Marble Hill.
Edgewater pulled off several exciting wins in the tournament, including a 25-24 victory over Ozark Cultured Marble in its opener. Davault handed Edgewater its first loss, 24-11, but the two teams met again in the finals. In the first of two title games, Davault jumped out to a 17-3 lead, but Edgewater rallied for a 28-22 victory. Davault then won the second contest in comfortable fashion.
For the tournament, Edgewater hit .615 as a team with 37 home runs and averaged 21 runs per game.
Both Davault and Edgewater qualified for the regional tournament in Omaha, Neb.
