Cape Central quarterback Kway'Chon Chisom ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries to lead the Tigers to their second consecutive football win over Jackson, a 48-35 decision on Friday at The Pit in Jackson.

Cape Central quarterback Kway'Chon Chisom ran for 149 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries to lead the Tigers to their second consecutive football win over Jackson, a 48-35 decision on Friday at The Pit in Jackson.

Chisom was also 3-of-5 passing for 97 yards and two touchdowns, both of which were to Al Young, who finished with 13 touches for 168 yards from scrimmage and three scores.

The Tigers (3-3, 2-1 SEMO North Conference) didn't commit any turnovers while the Indians (2-4, 2-1) turned the ball over twice. Jackson's first turnover came near the end of the first half when Young intercepted Indians quarterback Landry Moore and returned it to the Jackson 1.

Jackson scored on a hook-and-ladder with no time left in the first half but gave the ball back to Central on a fumble on its opening possession of the second half.

The Indians' Jeremy Elliott had a game-high 100 yards receiving on 12 grabs. He scored three times.

Moore finished 18-of-24 passing for 145 yards, three touchdowns and one interception while Triston Thele added 53 yards and a touchdown through the air, completing 6 of 9 pass attempts.
