BRIEF: 15TH ANNUAL RIVERFEST RUN

The 15th Annual Kohlfeld Riverfest Run will be held June 13 at 7:30 p.m.

The event, which includes both a 5.25-mile run and 1-mile event, is open to runners and walkers of all ages and abilities.

In the 5.25-mile race, a total of $600 in U.S. Savings Bonds will be awarded. Over 100 age group trophies will be awarded and all finishers will receive a ribbon.

All participants will also receive a Riverfest Run T-shirt.

Entry forms are available at the Cape Girardeau Chamber of Commerce, Convention and Visitors Bureau, Arena Building, Universal Physique, SEMO Rec Center, Howard's, or by calling 334-0070 or 335-3617.

Participants are encouraged to pick up their race packets at Universal Physique on June 10 from 6-8 p.m. to avoid crowds on race night.
