The 2023 Semoball Awards, presented by SoutheastHEALTH, returns to the LaCroix Church (3102 Lexington Ave., Cape Girardeau) on July 14, for a first-class red-carpet awards show featuring the presentation of 28 awards and recognition of the Lifetime Achievement Award winner.
Tickets are currently available for purchase at Semoball.com/awards and cost $40 for general admission and $100 for VIP, which includes reserved seating and a meet-and-greet reception with the keynote speaker who will be announced in the coming weeks.
Tickets for athletes are complimentary, and parents will receive an invitation that contains a promo code for two discounted tickets.
"This is the 10th year for Semoball Awards, and it's always an inspiring evening where we honor the best athletes in Southeast Missouri for their work on the field, court and track as well as in the classroom," said Lucas Presson, assistant publisher of the Southeast Missourian. "The stories of comeback performances and sportsmanship are some of my favorites of the night."
In addition to SoutheastHEALTH, the 10th annual Semoball Awards is sponsored by The Bank of Missouri (Official Bank Sponsor), SEMO ESPN, the St. Louis Cardinals, rustmedia and your local newspapers.
The Semoball staff has selected nominees for fall sports, which were announced on Tuesday, March 7.
