Professional golf returns to The Bootheel Golf Club in Sikeston, Mo., this week as the National Golf Association's Hooters Tour makes a stop.

A week of events begin on Monday with a qualifying tournament and practice rounds. After practice rounds on Tuesday and Wednesday, the four-round tournament begins Thursday. Tournament play, which begins at 7:30 a.m. each day, concludes on Sunday.

The week of events will also include a junior tournament on Monday and a pro-am tournament on Tuesday.

The NGA/Hooters Tour is the third largest men's 72-hole professional golf tour in the country behind the PGA and Nationwide (Formerly Buy.com) Tours, and boasts alumni like two time U.S. Open winner Lee Janzen, British Open and PGA Champion John Daly, as well as British Open winner Tom Lehman, Jim Furyk, David Toms, Stewart Cink, and Franklin Langham. The NGA/Hooters Tour has helped more than 100 professionals acquire their PGA, Senior PGA, and Nationwide Tour cards.
