BELL CITY, Mo.-- Bell City used the arm and bat of senior Jason Rampley to sweep a doubleheader from Advance Thursday in baseball action.

Rampley fired a one-hit gem as Bell City won the opener 1-0 and belted a home run in a 12-1 rout in the second game.

The right-hander struck out nine in going the distance for Bell City (7-4). Ty Brown drove in Ben Duncan in the fifth for the game's only run. Duncan walked and stole second before scoring on Brown's hit.

Eric O'Hare (3-4) was the hard-luck loser, allowing three hits and striking out 10.

Brown and Rampley each had three hits and three RBIs in the second game and combined to score seven runs. Rampley hit a two-run home run in the fifth inning. Darrell Bailey added a pair of hits.

Ben Duncan (3-1) allowed three hits. Andrew Jenkins took the loss.

Jackson 16, Farmington 3

FARMINGTON, Mo.-- Trevor Thompson had two doubles and five RBIs as Jackson won its seventh straight game.

Michael Burke added two of Jackson's six doubles. Jake Carter and Parham each finished with two hits. Brad Berry had three RBIs and Matt Gordon and Parham had two each.

Josh Parham struck out nine in six innings for the Indians (10-4).

Leopold 5, Oak Ridge 3

LEOPOLD, Mo.-- Josh Van de Ven settled down after a three-run first inning and went the distance for the Wildcats with 10 strikeouts.

Leopold (6-3) fought back with single runs in the first and fourth innings and two runs in the fifth.

Scott VanGennip led the way with two hits and two RBIs. Van de Ven and Kevin Holzum both added a pair of hits. Josh Morrison had two hits for Oak Ridge (4-5).

LEOPOLD, Mo.-- The Bluejays got a big road win over Leopold with two RBI performances from Chelsea Felter and Cassie Ludwig.

Leopold (7-1) outhit Oak Ridge (6-3-1) 9 to 7, but Wildcat pitchers issued 19 walks. Laura Glueck (6-2) picked up the win and Melinda Trankle suffered the loss.

Lexie Myers and Candice Schaper each had two hits for Oak Ridge.

Lori Vandermierden homered for Leopold, which got three hits from Kyla Horrell.

DEXTER 160, JACKSON 161

JACKSON, Mo. -- Jackson (12-2) suffered just its second dual loss at Kimbeland Country Club.

Peyton Sims, Blake McDowell, and Eric Fraley each shot 5-over 40s for the Indians.

Central 151, Sikeston 160

Central's Todd Obergonner was medalist with an even-par 35 in a dual meet at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Teammate Ty Gramling (36) was one shot behind with Tanner Fritz of Sikeston.

PERRYVILLE 2, ST. VINCENT 0

PERRYVILLE, Mo. -- Amanda Nuyt made seven saves as she recorded her 11th shutout of the season for Perryville (12-2).

Brittany Weibrecht scored off a direct kick just before halftime to give the Pirates a 1-0 lead. Christina Schremp provided a late insurance goal off an assist by Ashley Riney to put away St. Vincent (5-9-1).
