BELL CITY, Mo. -- Bell City ended the regular season in impressive fashion by rolling past Woodland 15-4-15-5 Friday night in high school volleyball action.
The Lady Cubs are 21-5-1 while the Lady Cardinals fell to 7-19.
Katie Spears had nine kills, six digs and three blocks to lead the Lady Cubs. Katie Niemczyk added four kills, six digs and nine service points. Whitney Abner had seven assists while Katie Goodman recorded nine service points.
Woodland's JV lost 15-6, 15-2 to finish the season with a 22-3 record.
OZARK CHRISTIAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE TOURNAMENT
POPLAR BLUFF, Mo. -- Eagle Ridge Christian School won two of three in round-robin action to secure the second seed for the final round.
Eagle Ridge (9-6) topped New Salem 15-12, 15-11 and Immanuel 15-13, 16-14 before losing to Southern Missouri Christian School 15-11, 15-13.

FREDERICKTOWN, Mo. -- Fredericktown opened Class 3A, District 1 play with an impressive victory.
The Black Cats (3-5) never trailed as they led 14-7 at halftime and held off the Indians (3-5) in the second half.
Sophomore Kyle Stephens continued his impressive season by rushing for 190 yards on 26 carries. He now has 1,030 yards on the campaign.
Stephens scored two touchdowns on runs of 1 and 5 yards. The other Fredericktown TDs were by Nick McDaniel on a 10-yard run and Brad Chambers on a 3-yard run.
