Figures are for 40-man rosters and include salaries and pro-rated shares of signing bonuses and earned incentive bonuses and other compensation. In some cases, parts of salaries that are deferred are discounted to reflect present-day values. Figures include money paid or received in cash transactions between teams to defray parts of salaries of traded players:
