Two golfers card aces at Kimbeland
Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson was the site of two holes in one on the same hole Friday.
Bryan Beussink of Jackson recorded his first career ace when he struck a 9-iron at the 12th hole. He played from the white tees at 90 yards.
Josh Minson witnessed the hole in one.
Dave Wunderlich of Altenburg aced the same hole, playing from the tees at 150 yards. It was his second hole in one.
Mike York, Carol Weinrich and Sissy Burnett witnessed the shot.
Mark Murakami of Cape Girardeau placed first in the Super Pro Class on March 25 at the Sikeston Drag Strip, while Charles Seabaugh of Oran picked up his first victory the ET Class in his Easy Rider pickup.
Murakami, the strip's defending class champion, broke his car and had to use his brother-in-law's dragster to pull out the win.
