Byrd, Giebler, Kluesner, Armbruster win title
The team of Jim Byrd, Brevin Giebler, Zach Kluesner and Tom Armbruster shot a 57 to win the championship flight in the afternoon session of the Cape Girardeau Public Safety Foundation outing at Dalhousie Golf Club on Monday.
The team of Jack Pettet, Tammy Pettet, Steve McAnelly and Bob Englehard shot a 58 for second place. Howard Roper, Michael Seidler, Mike Baird and Ted McClellan shot a 59 for third.
In the A-flight, the team of Joe James Jr., John Haman, Chap Arnold and Bill Scott shot a 64 to win. Matt Hollis, Bryan Matthews, Kevin Dorris and Jeff Spraye shot 64 to get second place. The team of Ken Oberlohr, Kelly Waller, Dan Rhonanz and Mark Starnes shot a 65 for third place.
In the B-flight, the team of Don Fisher, David Strong, John Tuttle and Jerry Sanders shot a 70 to win. Kent Ward, Jeff Roosman, Barry Hovis and Bill Bohnert shot a 70 to grab second place. The team of Bill Vandeven, Josh Vandeven, Jojo Stuart and Jesse Unverferth shot a 72 for third place.
In the morning session, the team of Billy Piercey, Tony Ross, Derek Gaines and Rocky Strand shot a 58 to win the championship flight.
Bill Tegal, Dan Atkinson, John McLemore and Joe McLemore shot a 62 for second place. The team of Dave Geebing, Dave Wunderlich, Rick Bollinger and Cary Roth shot a 61 for third.
In the A-flight, Jody Underwood, Matt Porch, Jim Duby and Tim Porch shot a 67 for first place. Rick Eisenbach, Tim Williams, Keith Shanks and Jerry Wolsey shot a 68 for second place. The team of Billy Collier, Ron Collier, Elizabeth Michel and David Michel finished with a 69 for third.
In the B-flight, Ron McCulley, Duane Statler, Scott Raines and Charlie Herbst took first place with a score of 72. Jay Brewer, Emory Gruenke, Shawn Moore and Matt Weitbarch shot a 73 for second place. The team of Jeff Bourbon, Mike Ervin, Harry Salazar and Roy Rahn shot a 74 to take third.
Seabaugh, Underwood win scramble holes
The team of Phyllis Seabaugh and Dana Underwood took first place on holes Nos. 13 to 18 in the scramble format at the Ladies Guest Day at Dalhousie Golf Club on Saturday. The team finished with a 22.
The team of Deanna Estes and Judi Brey shot a 23 and Mary Jane Eftink and Janet White shot a 23.
On holes Nos. 7 to 12, using alternate shot, Betty DeWitt and Sheila Cunningham shot a 23, Eileen Owens and Terri Parmly shot a 26 and Seabaugh and Underwood shot a 27. On holes Nos. 1 to 6, using a handicap best ball format, Ann Dombrowski and Brenda Vandenbrook shot a 21, Owens and Parmly shot a 21 and Alice Temm and Sissy Burnett also shot a 21.
