Red Star Baptist Church is once again sponsoring Run for the Son, a 3.1-mile road race that will be held April 11 beginning at 8 a.m.
The race, an official Cape Road Runners event, will begin and end at Red Star Baptist Church at 1301 North Main Street in Cape Girardeau.

Men's age groups are 15-under, 16-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-over. Women's age groups are 15-under, 16-29, 30-39, 40-49 and 50-over.
The entry fee is $10 if registered by April 7 and $12 on the day of the race. The first 75 entries receive a T-shirt.
