Susan Beth Scott of the Gator Swim Team will compete in the IPC World Short Course Championships that begin today in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Scott, 17, was a bronze medalist at the 2008 Paralympic Games in Beijing. She will compete in four individual events and may also compete in the relays. The meet runs through Dec. 7.
Mike Enders carded his first career hole in one Saturday at Dalhousie Golf Club.
Enders used a 6-iron to ace No. 5, a par 3 playing 155 yards. Witnesses were Adam Halter and Geoff Enders.
