Isbell aces Jaycee's third hole -- again
Bill Isbell recorded a hole in one Wednesday at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course on the third hole.
Isbell used a 6-iron to ace the 160-yard par-3 hole for the fourth time in his golfing career.
Isbell has five holes in one in all at Cape Jaycee Municipal since 1987.
Witnesses on Wednesday were Sam Peterman, Ray Schweain and Tim Sadler.
The Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course is offering junior memberships for the first time this year.
The annual membership is available to children ages 6 to 17 for $150 and is valid from the time of purchase through Dec. 31. It entitles players to unlimited greens fees when the course is open.
"Before we created this new membership, we only offered a discounted rate on greens fees for juniors," course manager Jason Karnes said. "This is a membership just like our adult memberships, where you pay for it up front instead of paying a greens fee rate every time you play."
For information, call the Cape Jaycee course at 334-2031.
