Parmly wins tournament

Terri Parmly finished with a net 66 to win the Ladies Handicap Championship at Dalhousie Golf Club.

Ann Dombrowski scored a net 73 for second place.

Davis, DeWitt tie for first

Lyle Davis and Jeff DeWitt both finished at plus-10 to tie for first place in the men's monthly points series tournament, which used a modified Stableford scoring system.

Terry Bozzay and David Hahs tied for third at plus-9.

Holcomb, Dillard win tournament

The team of John Holcomb and Howard Dillard shot a gross score of 139 to win the championship flight in the Cape Girardeau Country Club's member-member tournament.

The tournament used four formats -- best ball, alternate shot, Chapman and scramble -- over two days.

Lyle Davis and Mike Edwards finished second with a 140, while the team of Steve Logel and Tim Kelley tied the team of John Brey and Jerry Brey for third place with 141s.

The team of David Prince and Spencer Hogan won A flight with a net score of 142, while there was a three-way tie for second between the teams of Mel Moore and Bob Stillwell, Alan Benton and Dave Rotolo and Tyler Thrower and Tim Hightower with 143s.

The team of John Layton and Tony Balsano won B flight with a net score of 151. The team of Bob Talley and Ron Kirby was second with a 153, while there was a tie between the team of Al Whorton and Eric Bergmann and the team of Bob Phalen and Ron Unterreiner for third with 155s.

Hedden scores hole-in-one

Cape Girardeau's Bob Hedden used a pitching wedge to ace hole No. 12 at Kimbeland Country Club.

The hole was playing 90 yards.

Linda Enright witnessed the shot.

Underwood scores hole-in-one

Cape Girardeau's Dana Underwood used a 9-iron to ace hole No. 12 at Westwood Hills Country Club in Poplar Bluff, Mo.

The hole was playing 98 yards.
