Horky, Brawley, Sadler, Held win flight

The team of Craig Horky, Mike Brawley, Tim Sadler and Kevin Held scored a 55 and won a scorecard playoff to win the championship flight of the SEMO Lady Redhawks Team Swish golf tournament Monday at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The team of Tammy Pettet, Jack Pettet, Dan Rohrdanz and Brevin Giebler also scored a 55.

The team of Jim Burnett, Paul Probst, Toby Zoellner and John Wondel tied the team of Jamie Dodd, Kevin Garland, Steve Young and Scottie VanGennip. Both teams shot a 60.

In the A flight, there was a three-way tie atop the leaderboard, with each team scoring a 64. The team of Mike Shupert, Debbie Phillips, Kent Phillips and Bob Phillips won on the scorecard playoff.

The team of Kevin Roberts, Roy Roberts, Josh Gavreau and Jason Harrel and the team of Rick Kennard, Jim Horrell, Tony Buehrle and Glen Cook also shot 64s.

Evans team emerges victorious

The team of Brevin Giebler, Pat Evans, Ron Gosche and Matt Evans scored a 138 to take first place in the Big Kahuna shamble/pressure ball two best-ball net golf tournament at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The team of Greg Howard, Ken Swinford, Tom Hamilton and Ben Cantrell scored a 139, while the team of Jim Rust, David Hahs, Rob Erlbacher and Tom Metheny scored a 144.

Brey's team brings home championship

The team of Jerry Brey, Jim Maxwell, Donna Hand and Tim Kelly finished at 20-under par to win the ABCD 2-net best ball golf tournament Saturday at the Cape Girardeau Country Club.

The team of Jerry Van Oostrom, Steve Logel, Wally Lage and Priscilla Kirby was second, followed by the team of Dave Roberts, Laurel Adkisson, Dick Caldwell and David Morris and the team of Fed Ducharme, Chris Gross, Horton Miller and Gary Lynch.

Slaten, Matthews win junior series divisions

Brett Slaten shot a 75 to take first place in the 16 to 19 boys 18-hole Tour division at the PGA Gateway Junior Series golf tournament Monday at Sikeston Country Club.

Emily Matthews took first place in the girls 16 to 19 girls 18-hole Tour divisionwith a 77.
