Jackson Senior Babe Ruth swept a home doubleheader against Scott City on Thursday, a day after getting swept by the Charleston Squirrels.
Jackson defeated Scott City 12-2 and 14-5 to improve to 17-11.
Clay Roth threw a complete game in the opener, allowing five hits. He struck out three and walked two.
Roth, Spencer Sander and Jon Winkler each had two hits as Jackson had 10 hits overall. Jesse Schott added a home run. 
Hunter Cox took the loss for Scott City.
Schott pitched four innings in the second game to earn the win. He allowed one run and two hits, striking out three. Alex Beussink and Sander both had two hits as Jackson had 10 hits overall. 
On Wednesday, Charleston won the opener 10-5 and the nightcap 15-10.
Jesse Long took the loss for Jackson in the opener. Trent Steffens and Ryan Sprandel both had two hits.
Buessink was the losing pitcher in the nightcap. David Gray, Steffens and Long all had two hits for Jackson.
Susan Beth Scott of Cape Girardeau won the 400-meter freestyle in the paralympic division during the opening day of the Canadian World Challenge in Montreal.
Scott won in 4 minutes, 39.73 seconds to easily outpace Canada's Aurelie Riverds for the top spot. Scott will compete in the 100 freestyle and 100 backstroke today.
The meet, which continues through Sunday, pits American swimmers against Canadians.
