The team of Jeff Miller and Lachelle Cook took first place in the SEMO Horseshoe Association's seven-team tournament at the Scott City Knights of Columbus.

The team of Larry Glastetter and Diane Menz took second, while Brian Beussink and Danny Williams were third.

The team of Roy Tindell and Cook took first place in the seven-team tournament at the Backyard Club.

Perry Seys and Ron LeGrand placed second, while Mike Massa and Carolyn Schreckenberg finished third.

The next tournament is scheduled for Saturday at the Oran Jaycees.

Pettets join forces to win golf tourney

The team of Jack and Tammi Pettet took first place in the championship flight at the Cape Girardeau Country Club's Couples Classic golf tournament.
