Pat Gorham and Sonny Underwood teamed to shoot a 68 and win the championship flight at the Kimbeland Country Club's two-man best ball tournament.

The team of Bill Fadler and Woody Fadler shot a 69 to tie with Ray Wilhelm and Jack Evans.

In the A flight, Adrian Dawes and Kyle Thompson tied Don Fowler and Mark Fowler. Both teams shot a 73. There was a four-way tie for third between the teams of Harold Schott and Jesse Schott, Tommy King and Jim McElreath, Dennis Bowers and Mark James and Bob Templeton and David Little. Each team shot a 74.

In the B flight, there was a six-way tie atop the standings as each team shot a 79. The teams were Mike Tripp and Randy Probst, Joe McLemore and Jim Rapp, Chuck Wilson and Don Henley, Dave Heisel and Harry George, Billy Stearns and Bob Wittenborn and Gary Seyer and Randy Balsman.

Scott County edges Cape

Jamie Scholz picked up the win to lead the Scott County Junior American Legion baseball team past Cape Girardeau 6-4 on Monday.

B.I. Howard took the loss.

Brandon Peters collected two hits and drove in a pair in the loss. Ronnie Scott and Sam Schneider also had two hits for Cape (9-3).
