Temm team scores victory

The team of Alice Temm, Carol Largent, Terri Parmly and Eileen Owens shot a 70 to win the Ladies Opening Coffee scramble Saturday at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The team of Harriette Myers, Robin Davis and Phyllis Seabaugh carded a 72 for second, and the team of Ann Dombrowski, Deanna Estes, Bev Metheny and Sarah Cochrane shot a 74 for third place.

Giebler scores hole-in-one

Brevin Giebler used a 7-iron to card an ace on hole No. 11 at Dalhousie Golf Club.

The hole was playing 148 yards.

Jay Sheets, Lyle Davis, Steve Limbaugh and Kevin Ford witnessed the shot.

It was Giebler's sixth hole-in-one.
