Crowden used an 8 iron to ace No. 15, a par 3 playing 142 yards. Witnesses were Odie Lape and Kenny Davie.
Kuntze sinks ace at Cape Girardeau C.C.
Joyce Kuntze of Cape Girardeau recently fired a hole-in-one at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Kuntze used a 6-hybrid to ace No. 6, a par 3 playing 120 yards. Witnesses were Cindy Schmoll, Sheryl Bollinger, Donna Wheeler and Nancy Redenius.
Womack makes ace for mom's birthday
Bard Womack of Cape Girardeau made a hole-in-one for his mom on her birthday at Cape Girardeau Country Club.
Womack used an 8-iron to ace No. 8, a par 3 playing 135 yards. His mom, Jane Womack, witnessed the shot.
Schott sets 10K record at Missouri Southern
Eric Schott, a 2011 graduate of Central, broke the 10-kilometer school record at Missouri Southern at the Mt. Sac Relays last week in Walnut, Calif.
Schott finished fifth overall -- first among Division II competitors -- in the event in 29 minutes, 39.10 seconds, beating the old record by more than 24 seconds. Schott is ranked seventh in the nation in Division II in the 10K.
