Southeast cross country teams finish 12th, 17th
Southeast Missouri State University's women's cross country team was 12th and the men 17th in Sunday's Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational in Chicago.
Kaci Pilcher led the women's team in 27th among 560 starters. She finished in 18:29. Behind her was Kris Woolf in 52nd (18:49), Brooke Woodruff in 98th (19:19), Kim Kreiger in 105th (19:23) and Jen Caywood in 141st (19:47). Fifty-two schools competed.
Southeast's men were led by Brian Whitehead, who was 70th in 26:06. Chad Sierman was 139th in 26:43, Brad DeMattei was 197th in 27:16, Gabe Lutes was 258th in 27:47, Mark McNamara was 370th in 9:12 and Kirk Nesbit was 401st in 29:54.
Jackson, ND soccer game moved to Oct. 30
Thursday's boys soccer game between Jackson and Notre Dame has been moved to Oct. 30.
The junior varsity teams will play at 5:30 p.m. followed by varsity at 7 p.m. at Jackson.
