The team defeated Buffalo Wild Wings twice to win the championship in the season-ending tournament Tuesday at Arena Park. Knaup Floral finished third.

Dow earns medalist at Chip-A-Ways event

Sharon Dow was medalist in the Chip-A-Ways' weekly event at Jaycee Municipal Golf Course.

Waunita VanDyke place first in B flight, while Carol Brown won play of the day -- closest to the pin on No. 6.

Carolyn Blechle finished with the low-putt total.

Jones wins WGA event at Cape Girardeau CC

Marlena Jones captured medalist at the Women's Golf Association's weekly competition at Cape Girardeau Country Club.

Leslie Steele place first in play of the day -- throw out your two worst holes. Mary Ellen Bean and Marlena Jones tied for second.

In the nine-hole competition, Shirley Talley finished first and Sue Gerecke took second.

Hutson fires her first hole in one at Kimbeland

Linda Hutson of Jackson carded her first hole in one Wednesday at Kimbeland Country Club.

Hutson used a 5-wood to ace No. 6, a par 3 playing 134 yards. Witness to the shot was Charles Hutson.
