Hobbs enjoys college success

Jackson High School graduate Allison Hobbs put together the best meet of her college career at the Mutual of Omaha meet last month.

The University of Northern Iowa freshman took second in the 200-yard backstroke (2 minutes, 10.34 seconds) and 1,000 freestyle (10:56.56), fourth in the 1,650 freestyle (18:19.66) and fifth in the 500 freestyle (5:17.61).
