Baseball Basketball Cross country n Jackson camps: Jackson will host cross country camps for boys and girls entering grades 6 to 12 at the pavilion near the swimming pool in Jackson City Park. * Cardinals trip: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will sponsor a trip to the St. Louis Cardinals game against the Houston Astros on Aug. 1 at 1:15 p.m. The tickets are located in the pavilion reserved section. * Jackson boys camps: Jackson will host boys basketball camps at the high school. An individual skills camp for players in grades 3 through 7 will be June 29 to July 2 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost: $50 if preregistered; $55 at the door. A shooting camp for players in grades 3 through 7 will be July 13 to 16 from 9 a.m. to noon. Cost: $50 if preregistered; $55 at the door. A little dribblers camp for players in grades kindergarten through 2 will be Aug. 3 to 6 from 5 to 7 p.m. Cost: $40 if preregistered, $45 at the door. * Notre Dame boys camps: Notre Dame coach Kevin Roberts will host basketball camps at the high school. One camp will run from June 22 to 26, while the other will run from July 6 to 10. n Southeast camps: The Southeast Missouri State football program, under coach Tony Samuel, will hold two camps June 27 for high school players. There will be a 7-on-7 tournament for quarterbacks, wide receivers, running backs, tight ends, safeties, cornerbacks and linebackers. The cost per team is $200 and each team is guaranteed five games. n <B>Youth camp: The second annual dream team youth football camp, for players in grades 3 through 6, will be June 22 to 27 at the rugby field near Arena Park. The camp, which will be run by Southeast Missouri State football team members, will run from 6 to 8 p.m. June 22 to 26 and 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 27. * Southeast football tournament: The annual TEAM (Together Everyone Achieves More) Southeast football golf tournament will take place Monday at Kimbeland Country Club in Jackson. The four-person scramble is scheduled to begin at 1 p.m., with registration at 11:30 a.m. and lunch served at noon. Players who don't have a team lined up can be assigned to one. * Splash and dash: There will be a swim/run event today that begins at the Central Municipal Pool. Distances are determined by age -- adults: 500-yard swim, 2-mile run; 7- and 8-year olds: 50-meter swim, 1-mile run; 9- and 10-year olds: 100-meter swim, 1-mile run; 13- to 15-year olds: 200-meter swim, 1-mile run. Cost: $10 before July 1; $16 from July 1 to July 10; $20 on race day.
