Baseball

* Hitting clinic: Perryville High School will hold a hitting camp from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Saturday at the high school gym. Golf

* Shrine Club tournament: The Cape Girardeau Shrine Club's 16th annual golf scramble will take place at 1 p.m. May 20 at Bent Creek Golf Course. Cost: $80 per person, which includes lunch from noon to 12:45 p.m., 18 holes and a cart. Deadline: May 13. Info: Eddie Schreiner, 243-5503.

Running

* Saturday Seven: The Saturday Seven 12K/7.4-mile race will take place at 8 a.m. May 7 at the Osage Community Centre. Cost: $27. Info: splitmastertiming.com or 475-0499.

* Nutrition clinic: Ghisallo Running will sponsor a running nutrition clinic at 6:30 p.m. April 4 at Casa Mexicana restaurant. The clinic, which is free, will offer nutrition facts and tips to create a plan for a race or long run. Info: Ghisallo Running, 803-1193.

Softball

* Girls fastpitch league: The Shawnee Park Sports Complex will host a Wednesday night girls fast-pitch league. There will be four divisions: 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U. Games begin June 1. * Rules meeting: The Missouri Amateur Softball Association will hold a rules meeting at 7 p.m. today at the Osage Community Centre.
