Baseball

* Coaches clinic: The Baseball Coaches Winter Warmup clinic will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 19 at the Cape Girardeau Career and Technology Center. It is open to baseball coaches of all ages and levels. Speakers include Webster University coach Bill Kurich, Mineral Area College coach Jim Gerwitz, former Southeast Missouri State All-American Todd Pennington, former Southeast Missouri State player Matt Wagner, former Central coach Terry Kitchen, physical therapist Jacob Pattengill, Plaza Tire Capahas manager Jess Bolen, Central coach Steve Williams and Central assistant coach Darrick Smith. Golf

* Shrine Club tournament: The Cape Girardeau Shrine Club's 16th annual golf scramble will take place at 1 p.m. May 20 at Bent Creek Golf Course. Cost: $80 per person, which includes lunch from noon to 12:45 p.m., 18 holes and a cart. Deadline: May 13. Info: Eddie Schreiner, 243-5503.

Volleyball

* Co-ed tournament: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will host the 14th annual Osage Invitational co-ed tournament at 11 a.m. Feb. 27 at the Osage Centre. Cost: $60 per team. Deadline: Noon Feb. 24. Info: Brian Schlichting, 339-6736.
