  • Tour de Cape: The Tour de Cape will take place Saturday, starting at the John Boardman Pavilion by the riverfront in Cape Girardeau. Riders can choose from routes of 100 miles, 62 miles, 30 miles or 15 miles, and there will be mass starts at 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. The routes will cover terrain that includes flat stretches, rolling hills as well as a few challenging hills.   • Missouri watch party: The Southeast Missouri Black and Gold Chapter of the Mizzou Alumni Association will host a watch party for the Missouri football game against Nebraska at Beef O'Brady's in Cape Girardeau.   • Industry appreciation tourney: The 2008 Industry Appreciation golf tournament will take place Oct. 6 at Bent Creek Golf Course.   • Community Counseling Center tourney: The ninth annual Community Counseling Center Foundation golf tournament will take place Friday at Cape Girardeau Country Club.   • Senior two-man scramble: The Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation Department will host the 2008 Senior Two-Man scramble Friday, with a shotgun start at 8 a.m. at the Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. The tournament is open to men ages 60 and older. Men ages 60 to 69 will use the white tees, while players 70 and older will use the forward tees. Registration forms are available at the A.C. Brase Arena and the Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. Deadline: Sept. 30 at 5 p.m. Cost: $80 per team, which includes greens fees, carts and lunch. Info: Jared Tanz, 334-2031.
