AREA BRIEFS: INDOOR SOCCER LEAGUE

The Noon Optimist Club will sponsor a recreational indoor soccer league with play scheduled to begin in December.

The league, open to both boys and girls, will have the following divisions: Kindergarten, 1st grade, 2nd grade, 3rd grade, 4th grade, 5th grade, 6th grade, 7th and 8th grade and high school.

Games will be played in Houck Field House and at the Southeast Student Rec Center.

Registration will be held Wednesday, Nov. 12, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Show Me Center. Registration fee is $20 per child. There will be at least seven games per team and participants will receive a team jersey.
