AREA BRIEFS: EAST PERRY COUNTY FAIR RIVER HILLS RUN/WALK

The East Perry County Jaycees will host the 19th annual River Hills Run/Walk, to be held Sept. 23 in conjunction with the East Perry County Fair.

The event is a 4.5 mile run or walk from Wittenberg to Altenberg. Participants should meet at the fairgrounds stage at 9 a.m. to get a ride to the starting point.

All participants are asked to get donations for My Camp, a day program for the mentally handicapped in Uniontown which also provides individualized living for the handicapped.

Any participant that raises $25 or more will receive a T-shirt.
