IRONTON -- Arcadia Valley rained on St. Vincent's perfect week with a 66-51 victory Saturday.

St. Vincent had assembled a 4-0 week, but quickly found itself behind as the Tigers sank six 3-pointers in the opening period.

Arcadia Valley started out with a 22-12 lead in the first quarter and extended its dominance in the second period, outscoring the Indians 18-6 to take a 40-18 lead into halftime.

St. Vincent (16-7), which had played its fifth game of the week, rallied a bit to outscore the Tigers 17-14 in the third quarter and 16-12 in the fourth, but was unable to overcome the deficit.

St. Vincent was paced in scoring by Ryan Prost, who tossed in 12 points and was the only Indian player to score in double-figures.

Dongola Ill, 83, Chaffee 62

DONGOLA, ILL. -- The Red Devils' woes continued with a loss to Dongola, despite Chaffee having four players record double-figure scores.

Perry Rice scored a game-high 17 points to lead Chaffee, while Chase Eskew sank 15 and Sean Hampton and Sam Burnett added 10 points apiece.

Dongola jumped out to a first-quarter 16-9 lead and extended their advantage to 44-21 going into halftime.
