Apple Creek range to close temporarily

The Apple Creek rifle and pistol range will be closed beginning Monday for major reconstruction of the berms. The Department of Conservation expects the facility to reopen May 27.

Chip-A-Ways begin 2005 season

The Chip-A-Ways women's golf league began play this week at Cape Jaycee Municipal Golf Course. Linda Williams won the "A" flight, Deanna Peterman won the "B" flight, and Jan Keefe topped the play of the day, which was low putts.
