ADVANCE -- Advance erupted in the second half for a home-court victory over Woodland Tuesday night.
The Hornets trailed 29-24 at halftime but they broke out in the second half, outscoring the Cardinals 26-12 in the third quarter and 20-12 in the final period.
"We really played well offensively in the second half," said Advance coach Eddie Dunivan.
Trenton Statler paced the 10-11 Hornets with 26 points. Richie Weisenborn had 16 and Brant Henson 14.
"Statler has really taken control the last few weeks," Dunivan said. "He's running the floor well, getting a lot of other people the ball and also scoring well."
Woodland, 13-10, got 16 points from Eric Barnes and 10 from James Sechrest.
