Regional planning commission seeks input

The Southeast Missouri Regional Planning Commission is seeking the public’s help in drafting a new five-year development plan. The commission, which serves Bollinger, Cape Girardeau, Iron, Madison, Perry, St. Francois and Ste. Genevieve counties, intends to use the plan, called a Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy, to address a variety of public issues, including “transportation, recreation, housing, lack of specific types of businesses or any other perceived needs or problems,” according to a news release. ...
