Rain doesn't dampen mood at state Special Olympics opening ceremony (Local News ~ 08/13/11)
Rain fell outside the Osage Centre Friday evening, but it didn't dampen the spirits of the estimated 830 athletes and coaches gathered for the opening ceremonies of the Special Olympics Missouri 2011 State Outdoor Championships. The Central High School Class of 1971, which is marking their 40th graduation anniversary with a reunion September 23-25,2011,is proud to support the Cape Public Schools in celebrating the 100th anniversary of Central.
