LETTERS: BUYING FOREIGN GOODWILL
(Letter to the Editor ~ 12/29/96)
To the editor: Just what is the Department of Commerce? And why is it that the front man finds his work rewarding beyond that of pride in achievement? Opening trade means exchange of dollars between governments. ...

LETTERS: EXCELLENT HEALTH CARE
(Letter to the Editor ~ 12/29/96)
To the editor: Make no mistake. God is good -- in spite of us. The latest manifestation in my life came through Southeast Missouri Hospital. KINDER'S COMMENTARY : A LITANY OF FAILED -- AND COSTLY -- EDUCATION EXPERIMENTS
(Column ~ 12/29/96)
The Oakland, Calif., school district's approval of Ebonics as a separate language amazes on several levels.
