Wink - 50 Years

Mr. and Mrs. James Wink of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Oct. 2, 2010, with a family dinner at the home of a daughter and son-in-law, Kristine and Bill Glueck.

Wink and Beverly Fairbanks were married Oct. 2, 1960, at First Congregational Church in Anamosa, Iowa. Robert Day, cousin of the groom, performed the ceremony.

Mrs. Wink is the daughter of Willis Fairbanks of Anamosa, and the late Frances Fairbanks. Wink is the son of Dale Wink of Anamosa, and the late Doris Wink.

The couple has three daughters, Kristine (Bill) Glueck and Brenda (David) Clary of Jackson, and Kathleen Wink, who is deceased. They have eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
