Wills are married 70 years

Mr. and Mrs. Earl Wills of Millersville celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a luncheon reception Dec. 20, 2003, at Delmonico's in Jackson.

The event was hosted by their family.

Guests attended from Cape Girardeau, Jackson, Oak Ridge, Millersville and Marquand, Mo.

Wills and Opal Martin were married Dec. 23, 1933, at Cape Girardeau County Court House in Jackson, by Justice of the Peace Joe Rapp. Their attendants were the late August and Mary Martin.

The couple has a son and daughter-in-law, Gene and Ann Wills of Millersville; two grandsons and spouses, Alan and Karen Wills and Brent and Lori Wills, all of Jackson; and four great-grandchildren, Kyla and Brandon Wills, and Alyssa and Trent Wills, all of Jackson.
