White - 50 years

Mr. and Mrs. Bob White of Gilbertsville, Ky., are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary today. A rededication ceremony and dinner will be held with family and attendants.

White and the former Wylene Jones were married April 7, 1963, at First Christian Church in Murray, Ky. She is the daughter of the late Everett and Alberta Jones of Murray. Bob is the son of the late Joe and Ethel White of Jonesboro, Ark.

He is a retired history professor from Southeast Missouri State University. She is retired from Cape Girardeau School District.

The Whites have two children, Bryan White of Pearland, Texas, and Zonnya Carpenter of Owensboro, Ky. They have seven grandchildren, Rachel, Hannah, Evan, Danielle and Alex Carpenter, and Victoria Silva and Valentina White.
