Westrich - 70 years

Mr. and Mrs. Jerome Westrich of Cape Girardeau celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary with a reception May 17, 2008, at Deerfield Lodge. Hosts were their children.

Westrich and Ruth Joyce were married May 25, 1938, at Charleston, Mo.

Their children and spouses are: Glenda and Ben Bollinger and Larry and Stephanie Westrich of Cape Girardeau, Carol and Clyde Vaughn Jr. of Washington, D.C., Clara and Pat Scherer of Portageville, Mo., and Vicki and Bob Sledge of Centralia, Ill. A son, William Westrich, is deceased.

The couple has 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
