Ware - 60 years

Mr. and Mrs. Lewis Ware of Whitewater celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner June 21 in Cape Girardeau. Hosts were grandchildren.

Ware and Violet Vance were married June 19, 1953, at Chaffee Methodist Church in Chaffee, Mo.

They have two children, Floyd Ware of Whitewater and the late Vicky Keller. They have five grandchildren, Amber Keller Wilson, Jared Keller, Carlen Keller Mulholland, Rachel and Matthew Ware. The couple has six great-grandchildren, Jackson, Baylor and Natalie Wilson; Waylon, Walker and Wiley Mulholland.
