Mr. and Mrs. Dean Wadlington, formerly of Scott City, celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary with a dinner and reception Aug. 10, 2008. Their children hosted the event at the Knights of Columbus Hall in Scott City. Wadlington and Gloria Faye Ingvalson were married Aug. 5, 1948, at Fornfelt First Baptist Church, by the Rev. Wadlington and Gloria Faye Ingvalson were married Aug. 5, 1948, at Fornfelt First Baptist Church, by the Rev. Lester Bain. Their attendants were the late Larry Wadlington and Billie Sue Ingvalson Doris.
The couple has six children: Rick (Brenda) Wadlington of Lake St. Louis, Susan (Don) Rogers of St. Charles, Mo., Sally (Jim) Noon and Shelly (Randy) Bohn of Kelso, Mo., Sheryl (Jim) Bollinger of Cape Girardeau, and Robert (Tammy) Wadlington of Benton, Mo.
They have 14 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
