Thele -- 50 years

Robert and Wilma Thele of Jackson celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 2.

Thele and the former Wilma Jane Vandeven were married July 2, 1966, at St. John's Catholic Church in Leopold, Missouri, by the Rev. August Eckhoff.

They have a daughter, Sheila (Bill) King of Jackson, and two grandchildren, Kasey and Karson King of Jackson.

Bob is retired from Kiefner Bros. Inc. and has been a member of Carpenters Local 1770 for 50 years. Wilma is retired from Procter & Gamble. They have lived in Jackson since 1966.
