Stroder is a retired pastor, serving almost 55 years in the ministry.

Their sons and spouses are Lonnie and Susan Stroder of Jackson, Glenn and Joyce Stroder of Farmington, Mo., and Larry and Miriam Stroder of Owensboro, Ky. They have eight grandchildren and a great-grandson.
