Mr. and Mrs. Leo Schulte of Jackson recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary at Ray's of Kelso. Hosts were their children. Schulte and Sarah Jean Westerhold were married May 11, 1946, at Immaculate Conception Church Rectory, by the Rev. Felix Sommerhauser. Their attendants were Alberta Westerhold, sister of the bride, and John Schulte Jr., brother of the groom.

Mrs. Schulte is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Martin Westerhold. Schulte is the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Schulte Sr.

The couple has five children, Mary (Steve) Blackman, Kathryn (Bob) Summers, Tom (Pam) Schulte, Linda (Ron) Martin, and Susan (Bob) Rafferty, all of Jackson. The Schultes have 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
