Roberts married 65 years

ORAN, Mo. -- Mr. and Mrs. Louis W. Roberts of Oran celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary with a family dinner June 12 at Cedar Street in Cape Girardeau.

Roberts and Pearl Lillie Weaver were married June 12, 1940, at Jaywye, Mo., by George W. Roberts, father of Louis.

Their children and spouses are: Louis and Patricia Roberts of Perris, Calif., Ellen and Ervin Boxdorfer of Jackson, Sharon Horvath of Oceanside, Calif., Ron and Paula Roberts of Farmington, Mo., Shirley and Robert Turner of Marble Hill, Mo., Garry Roberts of Brooksville, Fla., and Donna and Charles Glueck of Oak Ridge. A daughter, Barbara, died shortly after birth.

The Roberts have 19 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
